Default Hemi, anybody run one yet?

I,ve seen two in town, so far I haven't had a shot at one.I've got a good runnin'5.3 ext.cab, but 60hp will be tough to fade, and the only Hemi I might run is a reg.cab 1/2 ton (basic and light).I'm running 4.10's and auburn pro so with a good launch I can hold'em off in traffic. So if anybody kills, or gets killed, tell about it.Post times if you see one at the track. Will I find what horsepower it takes? Yep. Jim

The 5.9L V8 was such a sad performer in the full size dodges. I don't hope for much from the 5.7L Hemi's Haven't played with one yet thou.

The SRT 10 RAM however,

the srt 10 wont be a biggie it's heavy and slow plus they aren't making that many and i think they are like 100,000 but dont take my word on that also we should not worry about stock trucks around here and if you are i suggest get some nitrous and say good bye

I'll let the Lightnings hammer it out with the SRT's and I'll likely have to spray to beat the Harley s/c Fords, but to date no Ford truck w/o supercharger or Dodge truck has been able to run with me.Several have tried, even killed two Boss 5.4 fords, but 345hp in an SS or Hemi must be a good starting point. i think chevy should produce a regular cab short bed with awd and a turbo like the ty's and sy's but with our luck it wont but that would hook really good unlike the lightnings and dodges that will be doing this

saw one click off a 9.87 i believe at denton 1/8th the other night. that was with no wheel spin either. I got my truck to run .15 better on the 60 but im loosin the top end or something.... need some work i guess... A guy in town i know has one and can barely get it to break 'em loose on a smooth street.

The weight difference barely makes up for the power. My truck on stock wheels weighed in at 4220 with a half a tank of gas with out me in it. I hear they are well over 4700 in SCSB form.

Hello again TNtruck, what's up! What did you end up turning in the 1/4 mile 2 weeks ago? I saw your truck out there but didn't get to see your time. I took your advise, I just got the 4.10 with Eaton posi broke in so I will be running either this Thursday or the the next week for sure. If I run this week I will go after them 12 second Ford Lightnings but would like to wait until next week for my brother-n-law's Camaro SS. All depends on what my brother wants to do in his blue Dakota R/T. Do you remember us??????

i played a 4 door saturday night. I didnt know he wanted to play til he punched it besides me, so i had to play catch up. When he took off besides me, it looked impressive. But i could almost see the truck slow down once he shifted and i just sailed passed him getting on and off the gas.
