I thought I saw his Tahoe run mid to low 14's? What exactly did it run?

 

The track was slick as snot on a door **** that night,I thought I went thru the waterbox by mistake,my first pass was 16.5. I walked it out the next pass and went 15.6 but Whitt just made one pass, spun into second and had the shift points to low into third.It surprised him,that tahoe never spun,em before and it went up in smoke . I raced my friends 2500 4x4 Hemi 4 door a while back. I was pulling on him just a little. I have a 2003 EC Z-71 and that just didn't seem right so I did a little research. Turns out the the 3/4 ton that most Hemis come in is 1200 lbs heavier than my Z! (wow) So there ya go.

 

I lined up next to one at Gainesville last night. It was a standard-cab, short bed Hemi!

I cut an .004 light (to his .8xx <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) so my only slightly better ET looked like a slaughtering!

I ran a 15.41 @ 89, he ran a 15.47 @ 87. His short time was a 2.2x and mine was a 2.3x.

Of course, I've just got a little bitty ol' 4.8!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Guy down the street has a 03' Hemi RCSB with exhaust! I have been trying to get him to run me but he's a old guy(55) and won't have anything to do with it!

 

I am just longing for the day when I can roll up next to one at a intersection while pulling my race car and ask "does that thing have a hemi?" Then blow him in the weeds!
