Help w/ Installed Valve Stem Ht. ?
Need help with installed valve stem ht (from seat to top of stem) for my 6.0L head assembly.
Head has been milled .030, using 1.7 YT rockers, stock length hardened pushrods, comp 918 springs w/ 772 retainers & '03 LS6 hollow valves. I believe the LS6 valves are a little longer than stock LS1 versions.
What is stock stem ht and do I aim for that or do I need to make and adj for the milling?
Thanks

Re: Help w/ Installed Valve Stem Ht. ?
The LS6 valves are .6mm or .024" longer than LS1 valves. I would love to just cut them but apparently the sodium/potassium mixture in the hollow exhaust valves can spontaneously combust if exposed to humid air.
Anyone actually cut/shorten these valves? Could I get different pushrods to make this thing work?
