Default Help with Radix

Had my RADIX installed today, Won't run. Backfired out the intake. Found out there is a leak at the manifold casket. I think there was a post about a guy that had the a problem with a leak also and what he did was swap the radix gasket (red) with the stock one (green) and it salved his problem. any ideas?
also it is torqued correctly and I'm using the magnacharger tune (for now)
Thank for any help
Mark

I used the gaskets that came with the Magnacharger. Think the key is to put the unit straight down onto the heads as close as possible to where it needs to be and have soapy water on the head/intake surface for the slight moves to get it lined up.

It was installed by a performance shop. Tomarrow he is going to take it off and try the stock gasket.
Thanks for your thoughts

I'm the one you are probably refering to. My grimlin came back yesturday after a 4 day hiatus. Must not have been the gaskets. Mine may be due to too much boost. Good luck though.

Mjhoward, I noticed in your sig that you are running 11.5psi on a stock tune? Are you refering to the superchips tune? If so I would be a little worried about running lean. Just curious.

The supplied orange gaskets that Magna Charger puts in the kit are factory AC/Deco parts right from GM they are the ones that have been in every truck since 1999 and there is nothing wrong with them . The green ones are new EPA friendly gaskets that are made from some expensive floracarbon stuff or something like that, that wont let emmisions pass through them. The new Green gaskets are really expensive , like 4 times the amount if money as the orange ones. If your a tree hugger get the green otherwise the orange are just fine if they are installed correctly.
