We can't be of much help without knowing what you want. If you don't even know what you want, take some time to think about it and get back to us. No sense in tossing out this cam and that cam suggestions along with any other performance modification if you yourself haven't a clue what you'll use it for.

Take some time, think it over. Better yet, go drive around for awhile during your thinking and pick out some things while driving that you think the truck needs to improve.

well sorry i didnt mean that i dk what i want...my truck has alot of torque but no traction...and it doesnt pull hard enough for me...i want it to be able to beat cars around here like gtos vettes stuff like that...but i dotn want it too extremely insane where im gonna be wrenching on it every weekend..so basically i want as much power as possible without it being too much to maintain...if that makes any sense

also i tow a 20' enclosed with my baja bug in there but not too much weight

Let's see, you have an LQ9, want more power, and do some towing....how about a good all around cam like the TR220 on a 114, with a Yank TT2600 or TT3000 converter. Not the biggest cam for a 6.0, but should still maintain some low end for the towing factor. The converters that I mentioned are still OK for towing without going too crazy, and will help to optimize the power band of the TR220 in a 6.0. Just my .02.

thank you sir..and also i dont tow THAT much...maybe like 30 times out of the year...depending on weather and stuff..so the whole towing issue isnt the biggest concern just as long as it all holds up when i do tow

while rebuilding your tranny put a cooler on it for insurance it you havent done it yet.

Depending on choice of cam you may need springs. IMO any cam woth putting in a 6.0 will need springs now depending on the lift of the cam will determine your spring choice most guys upgrade to comp 918s

the converter again would depend on your cam choice and where your powerband is but the two suggested are very well known to be good choices.

also you can put some UD pullys, Efans to free up some more power.

Maybe it's just me, but I think towing 30 times a year is actually quite a bit - that's about once every 12 days.
