Anyone know of any 6.0 shortblocks floating around in excellent condition? I would consider a long block w/o acc. if the price was reasonable. Thanks fellas!

Thanks for the support guys! Just got my Yank from Fed Ex a few minutes ago along with a trans-go kit. I hope to put it in next weekend. I need to get re-tune from Allen for the new converter and shiftkit, correct?

Good luck, Screamer. There are a few posts running around here ( search for 5.3 and 4.8 conversion ) with all kinds of advice, both good and expensive! Thunder is a great benchmark to aim for, I'm just glad he is willing to share and be the target!
I have posted my 2 cents numerous times. I am going the 5.3 bored to 5.7 and stroked to 383. Way, way more 5.3/4.8 long blocks out there than 6.0L ones. The 6.0L is no longer a secret, either to the car or truck crowd. Congrats on the graduation, too!
Good luck, keep us posted on your choices and build.
Thunder, all, big thanks for the advice and assistance. Keep em coming.
