You'll be sorry if you use Auto-CAD, use SolidWorks instead!!!

They're 2 dimensional parts. I'd prefer Pro-E either way!

I'm surprised hoe expensive the flanges are if you get them in stainless. I can get them made for free.

Anyway, The aluminum foil worked very well so I won't bother with the flanges until I do more exhaust work. I still have a section of 2.5" pipe under my truck. I thought it was all 3" but realized its not when I put on the muffler. I thing replacing that section (between the Y and muffler) with 3" pipe would benefit me with my TR220 cam. I might do some flanges while I'm under there.

Thanks to you guys for all the advise.

I would make sure you never put aluminum foil on a joint before the converters if you are running any.

Why's that? What about an aluminum gasket between some flanges? I don't have cats but I'm afraid I won't be able to find a place to get inspected that doesn't do a visual in which case I'll be installing some. I wouldn't want to mess up $300 worth of CATs with some foil.

I see you have LPPs and CATs, how do you keep them from leaking?

I have v-band clamps. I will actually be welding the clamps on tonight after work if I have time. Before I had the LPP headers, and the supplied pipe. I just used the 3" wide heavy duty strap clamps from NAPA, and they worked fine.
