Default Help me calculate CR?

Ok guys, I jumped on the calculator, but I don't know everything the calculator is asking ...

I've got a bone stock 5.3, I'm going to throw a set of 243's that are milled .030, and I was thinking of using a .030 head gasket. Using the calculator to the best of my ability, I got an answer of roughly 10.25:1... sound right?

Might want to check your PTV clearance... but .060 should bring you to the 10.3.1 - 10.4.1 area.

its actually only .050 kus the stock gasket is .051 so if he uses .030 then thats -.020, then on top of that milling .030 , .020+.030=.050 and no worries on PTV clearence just use a smaller pushrod like 7.350 ,my heads are milled .050 and have no PTV issues!

Good to know, that was going to be my other question was ptv, or I was gonna hand turn the motor and pray. I've got the 7.350 PRs already, so I'm gravy there, the cam I'm gonna use doesn't have any radical lift either, so I was hopeful that would help.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if I had everything in the calc right, so at least I know I'm close.

I calculate 10.1998 with a 60cc combustion chamber (-.030 mill = ~4.41cc) and a .030x3.90 head gasket on a stock bottom end 5.3.
