Default Help me....Bypass valve

To safely run more boost I need to upgrade bypass valves. FI Forum has been no help. Since my kit has no intercooler the tube that runs to the bypass valve is on the intake tube between the blower and the Throttle body. The race bypass valve requires a flange to be welded onto the tube and bolted to the bypass valve. Problem is that this is right next to the manifold and there isnt enough room. Any Ideas??? I would post pics, but my camera is at my mom's house. I will take some if necessay. Please, any ideas are welcome.

Someone has to have some ideas. Anyone know of upgraded bypass valves that have ends for 2 tubes and then a vacuum source tube?? HKS or Tial or one of those?? I cant seem to find anything that fits what I need.

Could you post some pics of your setup? I'm having a hard time picturing what it looks like.

I think thats a blowoff valve. Your MAF is post blower right?? Mine is preblower so the air is metered and boost has to be recirculated otherwise Id run pig rich and dont know if the truck would even run.
I wish I could get some pics. I will, someday. My blower looks exactly like http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/..._53_truck.html this vortech more or less. The bypass valve tubing post blower is right to the left of the blower, but there is very little room between it and the manifold. The Race Bypass Valve has a flange that has to be welded on there. I dont know if I'll be able to find someone to do it. I may wait a bit and save to try to do a FMIC. I figure with the OBX and tubing I should be able to get away with $600 or so. That would also give me alot more room to work with. That is if I can find a way to route the tubing for the intercooler. Like Ive said, shouldve gone Turbo....

So can you explain what a bypass valve does? I'm not familiar with those. Does it blow off excess boost and return it post maf?

How did you find out you need a bigger bypass? Are you certain you need one?

Bypass valve recirculates the air preblower, but still post MAF. It keeps the air from going back into the blower and bending the fins. Vortech states that I need the race bypass for anything over 10#. The Bosch wont flow enough air and I will have bad surging. This is coming from those that have tried to run the stock byapss. I dont know what way to go just yet. Guess I'll just take some time.

From the looks of it, it looks like you have no choice but to weld the BPV to the intake tube. How do you plan on cooling down all the extra boost?

Ok, that BOV I showed you will work. You just run the outlet back to the post maf pre blower location with some flexible rubber hose. All you have to have to make it work is a 1.5 inch pipe connected to your pressure side. What do you have now?

I have a progressive meth system. Im debating on setting up a water to air or FMIC soon. The water to air would be easier to route and measure pipe.
