Default HELP: exhaust question

ihave an 03 ex cab 5.3 silverado. my question is about the the exaust flange on the y pipe. i have a factory suburban exaust(3inch) i plan to use all the piping from it in conjunction with a magnaflow magnapac muffler. will the flange from the suburban exhaust work with the stock one on my truck????????

I almost gaurantee the flanges are in different places on your truck fromt he suburban but I could be wrong.

i not so interested in location. i just want to know the size of the silverado flange oopening verses suburban flange opening. thanks

if both have the 5.3 then they should be the same.

well the suburban exhaust is 3 inch. i got it from a friend at the dealership it came from a wrecked 03 burb, had a hole in the muffler.
