Default Help Door Speaker + or -

Hey I lost the truck manual and I need to know on the 6.5 speakers which wire is + and -. They both showed 7 volts and I know jack **** about stereos!! Thanks for the help. :Cheers:

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE MOVE THIS TO TRUCK APPEARANCE SORRY IT'S OFF TOPIC!!!!!!!

There's a green and black wire correct? More than likely the black is negative. Hook them up to an old speaker and watch which way the cone moves during the music. If it "sucks" into the basket to the beat, reverse the wires. It should make an outward movement.

Left front - Tan is positive, Grey is negative
Right front - Light Green is positive, Dark Green is negative.
Left Rear - Brown is positive, Yellow is negative
Right Rear - Dark Blue is positive, Light Blue is negative.

It's been multi-color coded for stereo systems for quite awhile now. Imagine black/red wires for a six speaker system.
