Default HELP!!! Damn truck wont stop dieing.

The damn thing wont stop dieing on me. Since getting the stall in it doesnt stall stopped at red lights, but it keeps dieing when i give it some gas to get it moveing and let off. Its pissing me off and I'm about to drive the thing into a really deep ditch.

What could it be? Its running much better since tuning it but the dieing keeps happening. And when i start it i have to rev it a few times or it will just die. What do i do?

Was it dieing before you started tuning? What did you change in the PCM? You had it idling with the cam before right?

Have tried cleaning out the idle air valve? Spray any throttle body cleaner though it real good?

How many miles and when/how did it start?

I can get to idle nice and smooth, but its always stalled on me since the cam swap. Before the stall it died at spot lights when the low stock stall would bog it down, and now after the stall the rpms drop so fast it doesnt have time to level out before it dies.

The only things i changed with HPT is added timing, dropped the idle to 750, got rid of TM, and deleted some codes.

You may need to raise the idle and let more air into the TB at idle. Im not sure where you go to do that as I havent had to do it yet. I cant remember what its called!

Thats what i did in the first place and to keep it from stalling at lights i had the idle set at 1000rpms. Since i have set it back down to 750, but i still have the stalling issues. Maybe i will crack the TB back a little tomorrow and see what happens.

I just dont see how all the other guys with cams as big as mine or bigger dont have these issues. What did they do differently?

I had something strange like that after my stall and I have a stock motor. Whenever you would let off the accelerator the rpms drop rapidly and if it didnt die it would search for an idle. This is with a 93 nelson tuned for the shift kit and stall. After a while when the converter gets broken in it doesnt do that now. I have no idle problems now. I would try getting it on the highway for 30 or so miles and just drive so the pcm can update.
