Do you think if I want with a 112 lsa it would make any difference?? I also want to swap to 4.10, or 4.56 gears. Thanks for the advice.

Well, I mean with my cam the 2500 is working, abviously, I'm turning out pretty descent numbers. But, it could really do with at least a 2800 stall. Especially going with 4.10's. A yank 2600 would work, but to maximize the cam, you need a larger stall. If it were me, with a 2600 or lower stall I would only go up to like a 212/218 comp. I wish I had gone with a larger stall when I had the chance.

If price is your big issue on converters, have you looked at Fuddle Racing? Thats where I plan on getting my 3000 stall. Good prices and they seem like great converters. They are primarily vette/fbody but just released a line of truck converters that retain a bit of towing. Just thought I'd throw ya a heads up.

Try retain all towing. He told me that with the 3200-3400 that Im going to get I will be able to tow retain ALL of my towing capability. He will even let me lock it in second gear and still warranty his product. That sold me right there if he has faith in his product enough to let me lock it in 2nd then I cant go wrong by getting one( remembers all the times I have said that before and gotten screwed) he seems to know his stuff and the stats on the converter sound good too.

Default Yank

I got the yank tt3000. I would consider it a good starting point. I'm glad I didnt go smaller. I considered a 2600. Glad I went with the 3000. And your already wanting a bigger cam. 3k for sure man.

Im thinking since its my daily driver/hunting truck I need all the low end I can keep. Maybe slap some 4.56's and go with a 3000 stall with the 218/222 cam a little head work, shift kit, and a 100 shot just in case its a bad mud hole.lol
