you did womething wrong in your edit or your tranny is in really bad shape. did you get all the TQR? what are your shift points? not talking about in 4wd are you? 5.3 right? you can't power brake it from a standstill?! i don't buy it. something is very wrong. just being a 4x4 doesn't matter. was it like that in stock tuning? my truck off the showroom floor, a 4.8 mind you with 3.42's, would light up both back tires from a standstill almost every time.

bigguy .. I still think something's up with your truck. My z71 would absolutely shred the BFG AT's if I stalled it at about 2k and let her rip. From a stand still, it would spin til about 5 or 10 if I was lucky, uncontrollable at other times.

My new truck doesn't hardly spin the tires unless I really TRY to make it. I think it's a little quicker than the old one though. I think once I get EDIT for this new one, it will be hell on wheels and even more so when I put the blower on. I can't wait!

We should meet up at Hallsville sometime just for ***** and giggles.

and letting it go and it would spin all the way into third or until the computer shut
it off.

arnt these trucks suppose to have gobs of low end torque? even with the supercharger, my truck feels no different on low end. it pulls great after 3000 rpm.

No, these trucks do not have lots of low end TQ. That is the major difference between them and the older 350ci. motors. Our peak HP AND TQ don't happen till well after 3000rpm, which is why alot of people have trouble spinning the tires when bone stock. Before my converter I could barely get more than a few revolutions out of the stock 265/75/16s. Even power braking it was tough.

No with LS1 Edit, and the converter, headers, etc. I HAVE to launch in 4wh high or else I can't control the wheelspin. It's like trying to launch right out of the water box if I stay in 2wh drive. (I am currently running 285/75/16 Goodyear A/Ts on the stock polished wheel)

I am doing the 02' Zo6 cam and electric fans soon then installing my old wet-kit so I am gonna be SOL for traction
