Question Help with cam tune

alright so Im putting my cam in tomorrow and I have HPTuners lined up for it courtesy of AJ. I need to tune it for my cam and LTs. Would anyone happen to be able to give me some advice or an entire file to copy? I would appreciate it. Thanks guys

I would start by searching the HPT Forums. You will be spending some time in the idle airflows for sure along with fuel trim tuning and maybe some spark advance to taste. You can start with a cut and paste tune file for some tables however you will need some live loging to dial her in. Good luck!

Its gonna take a lot of logging to get it just right; that's part of the fun.

if you have hptuners yourself then you can go into the tuning section on this site, there is a great write up on how to get rid of the idle surging bullshit, pretty simple to do and should fix your double foot issue. as for the rest of the tune, have fun, hope your dyno guy knows his **** cuz the shop i took my truck didnt know much, just a waste of time and money and no better a tune than when i left home.
