Was that with stock rockers or with the 1.85 rockers in your sig? Won't those rockers increase the lift and duration?

I would not put anything smaller than a TR 220 in that 6.0.

I personally would go for a 224 with around 580 lift and a 212 or 213 LSA

i agree that a tr224 will be a good cam. but the idle and tuning issues are a pita. even geoff at thunder reccomends a smaller cam for the trucks do to the torque loss and power needed for these slugs.

That's good to know...I'm definitely gonna call these guys first and ask some questions before I make my purchase, especially since I drive it every day. Slowprocess seems to have had some good success with this cam...I'm sure that he's had extensive tuning to make it work though.

I have the TR224 112 in my 4.8 with my Nelson mail order tune and daily drive it every day of the week! I have no problems with it. Cubes eat cams. A TR224 in a 6.0 would be mild. It is already mild in an LS1. IMO I'd go big, make it worth the effort.

This too is good to know! I already emailed Thunder inquiring about this cam, hopefully I'll hear back from them Monday. I don't wanna hijack this thread, but where do you have your idle set at?
