Default help!!!!!

I put my new pacesetter LTs on yesterday and then had a muffler shop put in 2.5" piping and dual flowmaster super 40 mufflers with urn downs on today....I put the front oxygen sensors back in and hooked them up, but since I got rid of the cats I have to put in siulators....well summitracing sent me the wrong simulators so I have to send them back...bottom line is, my truck won't stay running for ****!! What do I do? There is no SES light on?!?! Shoudl I wait until I get the simulators to drive it or is that even teh poblem? Thanks!

This may sound silly - but have you verified that you plugged the front o2's into the correct harness?

Had an F-body in the shop where the guy pluged left front o2 into the rear harness. Car wouldnt run for ****.

Retrace all the wires - make sure the connections are good and tight.

If it doesnt run well i dont see how that could be good for the truck.. i'd wait and just drive the beater around...

what year is your truck and what else are you running on it?

Usually it takes some time for the truck to start running weak after not having any sims... although maybe your ecm is smarter than most jk

It shouldn't hurt anything to drive the truck the rear o2 sensors basicly let the PCM know the cats are working and have very little to do with tuning. If you had LS1Edit you would just turn off the code.

the truck is completely stock other than the new exhaust if that helps any...also, yes I am positive that the front simulators are in the right ports...so, you guys are saying that it just may take the engine getting used to running without rear simulators?

Without the rear sims you will get a check engine code unless it's turned off with programming to the PCM or the signal is simulated by a sim. What I'm saying is that it should not hurt anything before you get the correct sim.

You cant run sims in the front o2 holes . The front sensors tell the truck how to run . Hope that was a typo on your part, if not that is your problem. Plug your front sensors in like stock , throw the o2s for the rear in a box , put a pic of your girl over the ses light and save for a custom tune to turn the ses off and make the most out of those headers.
