Default heater core hose fitting

anybody happen to know the part # for the heater hose fitting on the firewall? i have to replace the return side (driver's side). when i was running the 1/8th on Fri, i somehow blew the sucker off! the bung that the hose fits over/clamps to is broken off inside the hose.

i've got a temp fix for now so i can at least drive around. i just pulled the return hose out & looped the feed hose back around into the other side of the water pump. so far it ain't kinked on me, & temps have been normal (since i filled the reservoir back up). i reckon it'll work til i get it fixed & thank God it's almost summer, so i won't need the heater for a while.

on that note, can i still use the A/C with the heater core bypassed like this? and also, it's unrelated (because it's been doing this for months), but whenever the temp selector is all the way cold (i have the manual HVAC standard on a 99 NBS) regardless of fan speed/off or dash/feet/defrost, i have this slightly thumping kind of clicking noise coming from behind the dash. if i turn the temp one click warmer, it goes away. what's causing this?

and for the visual guys...

i reckon i should give a little update - i found the fittings on rockauto.com for 3.77, so i just bought one.

i was more trying to get answers to the last two problems - the A/C usage & the clicking

I did away with those fittings and just used hose clamps.
