I've been seriously thinking about selling my nitrous kit and getting me some worked heads.... I know it will be faster with nitrous but eventually the nitrous will break something sooner or later especially if I get greedy with a 150shot..
I have ran a best of 12.5 N/A with stock heads, do ya'll think with some good worked heads I can get a 12.1 or 12.2 N/a??? if I can get a very low 12 sec run n/a... I would really consider that route....
what is ya'll's opinion??
thanks...

You need to PM, e-mail, or call Allen Nelson about the heads he would recommend for our LQ9 6.0.
I've been at a race shop in Conroe when Allen was there. He was doing engine dyno runs with the owner and race team.
He found a great working cam and heads combo that made very impressive power gains using the stock injectors. It still maintained DD driveability and decent fuel mileage.
I was either going to do the heads and cam combo or a S/C. Since I've never done a S/C, I decided to go that route.
I also found that the heads & cam package would have been a lot less costly. Oh well, too late now. I'm already neck deep in it already.
Hell, even a turbo kit would have been cheaper.......

if you get worked heads then you owuld IMO need a bigger cam. I think high 500's, .580/.590 lifts are good on stock heads. With worked heads I would want a little more lift. Something to consider, and of course it will help. And then agian with the heads your gonna want to consider an intake manifold(I think your still on the truck intake?)
