Default Heads & Cam & Radix Question

Hello,

what heads and cam combo would best compliment the radix kit? How much HP could i expect to make? What stall would i need I need to get? What trans does a 2wd 01 tahoe tahoe come with? What size is the rear end in the 01 tahoe?

thank you very much,
Justin

Others can help you with the first few questions. You would have a 4L60E and a 8.5" 10 bolt.

As for Cams, here is a Lingengelter Gt2-3 http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/l210085297.html and a GT7 http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/l210095297.html

The GT2-3 seems to be more popular.

I have the GT-2-3 and am planning on matching that with the prc stage 2.5, 5.3 heads. They flow 312@.600 and they just lowered thier prices to $1134.99 for the set so that is a steal in my opinion.

+1 for the gt2-3 cam.

I stayed with a stock converter but if you do go with a aftermarket verter, I'd stick with a 2400-2600 stall. Try a Precision Industries or Yank for converters

it is really based on your supporting mods but are you after a HP# or a track time?? if you run a big converter you may not show great dyno numbers but you will have great luck at the track. It is really different for every combo.
