Now y'all have got me seriously confused.........

Sorry, yeah, 7.38 sounds right for stock.

OK, so....my parts list should look something like this:

1. ARP #234-4119 Head Studs
2. Comp Cams #7639-16 7.40" hardened pushrods
3. GM MLS 6.0 Head Gaskets (what about Fel-Pro 4.135" bore .041" thick LS1 gaskets ??)
4. Stock Rockers
5. Stock Lifters

Forget everything. Just buy 7.4" hardened pushrods and you'll be fine. They are .02" longer than stock, but thats perfectly acceptable.

With that felpro #1041 gasket, you'll increase your CR by about .2 of a point and have a better quench. I've got an extra set if you need some.

What he said ... I didn't realize the base circle on that cam was that small. I figured it was like the CC cams. I guess that's what I get for assuming.

Are those FelPro's your talking about graphite or MLS? What's the bore size on them?

The felpros have a 4.1" bore, but are only like .041 thick compared to the stock .055-.060 gaskets.
