Headers: TSP worth the extra $50+?
Looking to pull the trigger on a set of headers and ORY in the next few days here.
Right now I am looking at either the Texas Speed or LPP offerings. My question is, are the TSP headers worth the extra $50 or so? (most of which is in shipping costs....)
Both are stainless (TSP 304, LPP 321), both are 1 3/4" with a 3" Y.....
I know that the TSP headers come with Cometic gaskets, not sure about the LPP.
So sway me one way or the other. And please, no Pacesetter recommendations. No thanks on those...

Why no pacesetters? Educate me. I'm looking at options for my 6.0 but I'm thinking 1 7/8" if I do it.

For one thing, I want stainless. Second, I have had issues with Pacesetters cracking along the flange in other applications. Sure their cheap, but at what cost when a stainless header and y pipe can be had for ~$500?

I've read that the tsp long tubes have an o2 sensor bung in an awkward location. I can't remember who it was, but I think he had to bang his trans tunnel to make room for the sensor.
Also, why do you prefer stainless? Every stainless header I've ever had looks like **** in two months. Ceramic are better, but more $.

I have the TSP 1 7/8 fbody headers on my truck if the quality is the same on the truck headers I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. As for is the extra 50 worth it to get TSP its up to you but they do have great customer service I don't know about LPP.

I think that I am going to go with the TSP setup. I have heard nothing but good things about their products and the way they do business.
