Headers Help!!!
#1
I bought some long tubes removed the Stock y pipe and when I looked at the headers I noticed some bolt heads missing... Tried to remove the header from the block and SNAP the head of the bolt broke off... My question is can I remove the bolts without pulling the engine??? It's the front pass side, rear pass side and driver rear that are broken off,

The passenger 3 total, luckily one of them was just the head of the bolt so I got vice grips and it came off easily but the other two are broken in the head I can get to the one on the pass rear I removed the wheel liner and it's a clear shot but I think I'm going to have to buy a angle drill to try and get the driver rear it's really tight back there

heard this many of times. I was lucky, had none break.
I've heard some try a tack welded nut over the top on the stud and see if that would work it out... if they broke down flush or further I'm at a loss

This one worked in my '99 5.3 that had the #7 broke before I got anywhere near it. I wasn't talented enough to hold the wrench / nut / while tacing the remaining stud but my buddy was. Ut sure beat pulling the head ..
