got pacesetter LT's and pacesetter ORY today. The truck is cooling off right now. I do have one question. do you have to remove the trans cross member to get the y-pipe out on the 07 NNBS?

nope, break out the handy sawzall!!! otherwise, probably so. i couldnt get the manifolds to separate from my stock y-pipe so i ended up cutting those off as well. hopefully this will be of no problem to you.

If you want the y-pipe out in one piece you will have to drop the crossmember. It's not hard, just make sure you've got something holding the tranny in place.

EDIT: Just re-read first post, didn't see that it was a NNBS So I really don't know, but it can't be that much different.

man i miss my tools. they are in a POD in a new orleans warehouse. all hand tools tonight. I could not get the front o2 sensor off on the passanger side, so i unpluged it. I did drop the cross member. that was the easy part. the swival is the greatest tool ever invented. i had to borrow one from the neighbor, lol. I thought the cat nuts would come off easy because the truck only has 8000 miles. I thought wrong, lol.

for toight I did:

oil change. put in Royal purple 5w-30, mobile 1 extended performance filter, removed o2 sensor, removed cross member and removed y-pipe. I should be able to get back on this project and finish it friday night.

Thanks for all the help fellers.
