Definitely go for long tubes, and if you live in an area that sees snow, I'd recommend something in stainless steel.

Not sure on your emissions concerns, but if not, some LTs. Top brands are Dynatech, ARH, SW & ASM. All are s/s. Myself I only wanna buy 1 set, unless I decide to change brands to go to a header that optimizes a particular aspect like going from 1 5/8" to another set that is 1 3/4" or different collector setup. The AS&M req. welding, I think the other 2 hign ends don't. I know mine didn't.
If I was on a budget & wanted some stainless, I'd look at the SW's as I think they're the most reasonable price. Not that I'm not happy w/. mine, just sayin.
Maybe our buddy that deals w/. SW will chime in.

If it's not any of those, most run Pacesetters.

The AS&M's are no longer available, and weren't stainless back when they were

I thought they were s/s as an option? Didn't know they weren't avail. anymore, but then again, if u have a good set already, u don't usu. go lookin for another.
Esp. if they cost alot.

Since I'm new to headers, you're saying get the header & secondary tubes c/w cats not just the headers only?
