I have an '04 Sierra 5.3 and my buddy is telling me to get the dynamaxx LT's with the cats setup.
What do you think? Are they really worth the added expense, say over the pacesetters?

I suggest Arizona Speed and Marine headers. I placed an order for those about two days ago. A friend of mine has those same headers and they're pretty cool, they gave him some more power. One drawback to these type of headers is that they're a bitch to install, especially the one that grazes the steering wheel shaft...they have to bend one tube with a hammer in order to prevent it from hitting the steering wheel shaft...anyways, the work is tough, but it's worth it...

I can't address the ? about if they're worth the extra $$$, but I can say I'm very pleased with my Dynatech LTs and they have a reputation for being very easy to install. They're well designed and engineered...but they're not smog-legal everywhere. They are here in NC and I'm satisfied that I got a good deal. Tom Byrne had a good deal on these recently and, to me, they're well worth the $$$. Good luck!

I have a set Im selling... but really the Pacesetter LT are a much better deal.. Because I want 300 for mine... there the Edlebrock Ceramic Coated.. I paid 349.99 + shipping and there only about 9 months old or so...... Go with the Pacesetter Longtubes...

Another vote for long/mid length headers. I'd just save my money for a pair of those.
