ASMs were good for 18.5 HP averaged after 5 runs and 14 ft-lbs of TQ. After some fuel pressure tuning (added 4 PSI) as they seemed to lean out the mixture, they netted an average gain of 23.5 HP and 15 ft-lbs of TQ after a total of 4 more passes on the dyno.
AS I recall the ASMs were about 3" inches longer that the genI Hamms and about 4.5" than the newer genII Hamms.
I don't have any info on the Hamm's performance on the dyno.
