Default headers?????

looking to purchase a set of headers for my 5.3 standard cab 2wd... can anyone recommend the best brand to go with??

which ones give you the most power?? cost less??

The Hamms are supposed to be pretty good. I will be putting a set on as soon as they get here (been waiting nearly 3 months)and can let you know more then. There are a few here with the ASM headers and like them. Try to stick with long tubes if you can. Shorties havent proven a significant gain on the new trucks from what I have heard/seen.

how much are you paying for those??

I saw the ASM but they cost like 700.00 I was looking at the Gibson and they were only 339.00 I know you get what you pay for so I'm kinda hesitating to go with the Gibson's...

thanks, I'll be sure to look into those... this is my first day on this forum it's awesome...

BigKid your truck is pretty nice I have the same color but GMC with 20's... I will take a note of your mods, one of my girl-friends is picking up a lightning this weekend... I must not be shown up!!!
