What kind of headers? My plug wire boots touch the primarys in a few places and I've never had any issues.

Get a zip tie or something to hold it off the primary. Do a search, this has been covered several time by myself and many others.

Zip ties or home made brackets that hold the wire off of the primary will work

What I did to keep my plug wires from touching my headers was to take a piece of copper wire and tie wrap it to the plug wires with clearance problems. That way you can mold the plug wires into the shape you need to keep them off the headers. I then slid high temp sleeves over the plug wires.

I have a piece of turbo/exhaust wrap around 5 and 7 with no issues at all...and they are literally right against the headers...
