Default Header Idea

Who puts out a production header, tri y design maybe 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 primaries, extended length 2 - 2 1/4 secondaries, into a merge collector. If, from what I've been reading (info source from Burns and S&S), they are the cats ***, why aren't they available. I have sent out a request for info/input and am waiting to hear back. A search of S&S in here and tech comes up short. Nobody running these.

Just an idea, but you could probably find that design in a Ford header. If you cut the flange off of the head and welded a LS1 flange, could that work? Just an idea.

For example.

These are Ford Pickup headers

These are LS1 flanges

A little adjusting might be needed but I think it could work.

Remember, just an idea....

I may have found a winner. Belanger looks to be it. Long tube tri-y, lenghty stepped secondaries, good collector. Not inexpensive. I can't find any place wher someone is actually running them.

Holy Crap. Are those things made out of gold or what. That price is ridiculous. You can buy a ceramic coated dyantec with the cats for that price.

Why not look more at the Thorley Tri-Y LT?? Hell of alot cheaper and still a good header. The Belangers just have a bigger primary, collector and different O2 sensor placement.
