Default header and gear ?

1. Will a set of 4.10s out of a F-body work in my truck? Also what will I need to buy to to install them. What size 10 bolt is our again?
2. What else do I need to buy to install my headers. I was told you can reuse your stock header gaskets. Do I need to buy just a new donut gasket or what? They are JBA so you guys that have them let me know YO. Thanks in advance

No they won't fit. You have a 8.6 but an 8.5 will fit fine. To do the gear swap you will need an installation kit that includes the folowing: pinion bearings, carrier bearings, pinion nut, pinion shims, pinion seal, carrier shims, crush sleeve, gaskets & checking compound. Good luck.

you can reuse the stock header gaskets or if you need i have a TON of them here Alex just let me know. the donut gasket should be fine too...the fbody rearend is 7.5" i believe and we're 8.5ish...something like that. if you've never setup gears before take it somewhere to get it done cuz you'll ruin the gears if you set it up wrong. hey, shark...are you close to UT pan am?

There is a home depot in McAllen about 10 minutes away from UTPA. I am sure you can find a way to make money down here. Cost of living is probably the cheapest in the nation.
