Default Header/exhaust ?s

I see a lot of people using LTs.
What brands are out there for 6.0? What brands are recommended?
Will LTs fit on a 4x4?
Do LTs make the best HP gains compared to shorties?
What size tubing is used on 6.0 exhausts? Looks like 3".

Lastly. I'm sure this will sound stupid but, here it goes.
Has anyone kept there stock exhaust and just put on LTs?
What do you think the results would be from that?
Just looking for some ideas.

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Number one brand here are probably Pacesetters. There area also Dyantech, Stainless works, OBX, Thorleys, and probably a couple others. They will fit on 4x4's. I'm not sure what size the tubing is.

Shorties are basically no better than the factory manafolds.

I think you would be ok with the stock pipes, but it would be a good idea to at least get a better muffler. There are some pics on here that were posted recently of a stock muffler cut in half and you can really see how restrictive it is compared to a good straight through design.

The 2500 HD 4x4 6.0 is a tough fit from what I have found. My research and calling header makers I found that Dyna, Pacesetter LT's are not applicable to this chassis. Many others are available in shorties only.

Stainless Works and Arizona Speed & Marine are the only two I've spoken with so far to confirm a fit. Keeping the cats will take some welding.

The consensus I'm hearing is shorties are a waste of money.

Check speed engineering or Texas speed for prices. They usually have the best prices and they are sponsers. ------------->>>>
