I've sold the turbo system. Ive blown up several trans and a couple motors. I'm going with the stroker for reliability. I also want to be able to tow without worrying about egts, underhood temps etc.

I didn't have the willpower not to turn up the boost LOL. I think 450-500hp will be fun and reliable.

HP doesnt always have the verdict on blowin trans.. haha kinda ashamed but I dumped 2 within 3 months.. the 1st of which was on my old truck which was a 97 stepside reg cab with a pathetic excuse 4 a motor of a 4.3 V6. The second was in my current ride with a 4.8.. old folks had it be4 me so go figure on that 1!

OBX doesn't look any bigger than the Dynas. I'm only looking for 450-500hp so I'm not sure how concerned to be about the size. It isn't an all-out power build, just reliable fun. But, I don't want to waste power either.

OBX's are the same exact design as the old dynatechs. i hear a lot of people talking about how getting 3 inch collectors is a must but i really think it depends on what your goal's are and how much power your putting out.

Collector size is gonna depend on current/future mods. 3" is NOT a must on a near stock 5.3. But with a 6.0 or bigger, youd be dumb not to have a 3" on there.
