No expert but I don't see anything to think you wouldn't have a great street truck!

So I gather that what has been said in this thread is similar to what most of you think...?

Well 138 views and 3 or 4 opinions other than my own.... I guess a lot of these guys are too scared (or shy....or something) to even make a comment!! I guess I will make a poll next time to see what people think...

Thank you to those that did reply!!! I appreciate any help that I can get.

The other route I could go with this is an 02+ Z06 cam & springs with stock heads.

Which would you guys go with??
Stock heads and 02+ Z06 cam
or
PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l heads and COMP 224/230 .581 .588 cam

The other things on the ENGINE that are going on either way are

LS6 Intake manifold and Ported & Polished throttle body
28.8lb injectors
LS6 Valley Cover
LS2 Timing chain
ASP Underdrive pulley
Ported LS6 oil pump
ARP 2000 Rod bolts
ARP 12pt head studs

Numbers as in 1/4 mile or numbers as in hp/tq?

Horsepower wise I would say somewhere in the 360-370 range

E.T. wise I would say somewhere around 11.5-11.9

....Just ordered a Yank SS4000

So I guess we will see how it runs with the PRC's and the 224/230 cam.... I have a feeling it is going to take a bunch of tuning ! LOL

we all have them but not everyone needs to see them

Go with the big cam and start working on the traction issue

I spent today assembling the engine. I think I may buy some CTS-V lifters before I go any further. While I'm at it I think I am going to order some Yella Terra Ultralites 1.7.
