i am getting this code P0118 and i went to autozone and it came out it was something like mountfunction in the electrical sytem in the vent valve/solenoid of the evaporative emission control system anyone know what that is or how to fix it .Also my truck is doing someting weird. when i take off all 1st gear it pulls real hard but then when going to second gear like at about 3000 rpm it cuts off real bad then pulls hard after that then again around 5500 rpm it does it again . we put the laptop (the guy who tuned it ) and everytime it does that it shows that it knocks anyone know what this could be or what i could do to fix this any help would be appreciated.

Does it do this on every run, or just every few times? Lots of variables to look at that would affect the knock you are seeing. Hows the VE look?, what about fuel pressures?, plugs look good? I have no idea just trying to give you some things to think about, hopefully someone with a little more expeirence and a newer truck will chime in. Burst knock was a problem in the 2000 and before trucks. I dont know what causes it-do a search. Hopefully this helps you out.
