Will it work? Is this a dumb idea? Most likely ill lose power, correct? please let me know what you think. Also looking for gas milage help, i have a cold air intake and it really doesnt work that good. thank you -D.J.
you shouldn't have a Y-pipe on that setup, well, there is one after the muffler that merges the dual exit into a single side exit.

The Magnaflow cat-back uses 4" tubing w/ internal Y, sounds good too!

That's right, the Magnaflow kit uses a dual inlet/4" outlet on the HD's. They sell the muffler (4" or 3.5" outlet) also if you want a custom tail pipe or turn down.

I think Magnaflow has a new setup for the 6.0 that uses a redesighned dual in sigle out muffler and a 4" tail pipe.
