Having a few problems with the truck
#1
-Problem No 1-
I heard some ticking inside truck this weekend and it seemed to be coming from the steering column. I heard the ticking before but it wasn't as loud and didn't do it as often. I am not too sure if that is where it is actually coming from there or not but it is in that direction. It doesn't do it the whole time I have the truck on but it would do it for a while, off and on. I have no idea what it could be causing this. Would a bad ignition switch be causing this?
-Problem No 2-
This weekend I was sitting in front of a store with the truck on and revved it twice and afterward the truck seemed to want to die. The truck started to sputter and the a/c got really warm. I was first thinking that I was having a fuel pump problem but I started to drive the problem went away. I also turned off the a/c and the problem didn't reoccur. The problem didn't reoccur the rest of the weekend so I am kind of stumped at what it might be. I just replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago with a red top optima so I am thinking that it isn't linked to that.
-Problem No 3-
I am getting a vibration noise from under the cab. I have been told that it could be my cat/s that could be bad. It wasn't making the noise until after I had my exhaust put on, so I am a little unsure if it is the cats or maybe some piping hitting something. I only hear the noise when I am stopped and in gear and up to temp. If I am in park it doesn't make the noise.
