Default 2003 GMC problems

hey guys,

i'm posting this for my grandfather, so sorry if i'm in the wrong section. I'm always over on ls1tech. but anyways

my grandfather has a 2003 (maybe its a 2002) GMC Seira C3. Ya know, the huge, fully loaded, computer controled 4wd etc etc etc

well he took it to the dealer today, to have the idle increased b/c it was idling too low sometimes and would stall. okay, no problem

but they were supposed to fix another problem and what they did, didn't fix it.

whenever its hot out especially, and turning the truck will chug REALLY badly. the dealer said its the clutch packs in the axles, and they aren't letting go. he said there is a service bolliton on it, which said to change the fluids in it, and it basically fixes it. well they did that and wrong, it still does it.

does anybody on here know what it could be? it goes back to the dealer friday. we know the shop manager, so i was hoping to get some information, to point them in the right direction. There don't seem to be many C3's, at least in my area, so maybe they don't know what could be doing it

thanks guys!!

they did that, it helped the idling problems

but that wouldn't have anything to do with the chugging

the chugging isn't from the motor b/c i watch the tach, but rather like the 4x4 being too tight

something is screwed up

Check the fluid in the transfer case as well as the diffs. Make sure they added the friction modifier too.
