Allan will figure it out. He is with out a doubt the most knowledgable person when it comes to anything about our trucks and cars. Hope everything works out.

I know it's in good hands. If it can be sorted out I know Allan can do it. I just hope it's nothing major. This truck is really trying my patience
Maybe my next mod should be a FOR SALE sign

well, don't start thinking about selling it yet. i have seen too many people install a new engine and have a few problems. even seriously experienced engine people.

my question was gonna be how did the cam get installed wrong but you kinda answered that for me by saying it was professionally built. i would highly doubt it was done wrong. but you never know.

hopefully it is a bent pushrod and nothing else.

I know I need to stick it out. I have all these plans for the truck, but keep running into these setbacks that are taking up all my money. I cant move forward for all the problems I keep having. I'm trying to keep positive about it. My last engine started knocking badly and when torn down there was nothing physically wrong with it. Now I have a built engine, with cam and blower making the same power as most bolt on 6.0's. Yes, the power was that low I must be jinxed Only time will tell what is wrong with it. Not sure when Allan will be able to check it out. He is very busy right now. In the mean time.....who all would like to throw a guess at what the problem turns out to be???

I was thinking about this one last night. If it was off more than a tooth, I'd think you'd have piston / valve issues. I'm curious to know what it is.

If it turns out to not be the cam, then WTF could it be I wonder....
Hell, if the 15psi was actually making it into the cylinder then that would be good for roughly 300 hp right there. So, there is no way that much boost is getting in. Plus, it wasnt detonating, and we all know a whipple making that kinda of boost with no alky or intercooler would be detonating it *** off. I guess the engine is putting air back up into the intake and the combination of that plus the blower cramming air in is making that big boost number????? What if it was a combination of being way to far advanced plus it is off a tooth or more?????? It was suppose to be installed straight up. I'm just kicking around ideas. My knowledge of cams is very limited so bear with me if I come up with somthing that is really stupid. My air/fuel ratio was almost dead on too, seems if that cam was in right, there would have to be some adjusting to the a/f ratio. Also, the cam seems to be alittle more lopy than it should be
