Default has anyone in here done arp rod bolts before?

i asked this in the internal section but am too impatient to wait for an answer.

anyone put a set of there in before? i started puting them in and noticed the stock ones have a sleeve in the bolt hole. do i leave that sleeve in with the new bolts or remove it? i got a couple of bolts in there with the sleeves before i realiazed they were even in there.

thanks

Parish,if the ARP bolts fit inside the sleeve I wouldn't chance pressing the sleeves out.I don't see any way the sleeves could harm anything, but if the new bolts are loose without the sleeve that could cause a problem with getting proper torque specs.

I have done Katech rod bolts.Just take the cap down knock the sleeves out
with a small punch and replace bolts. The Katech bolts have a large shoulder
that takes place of the tin sleeves.
