Has anyone done an alignment?
#1
I lowered my truck last week with a 2-4 drop. Today I did an alignment and was wondering if anyone else has done an alignment on their truck? How did you set it up?
I went for the most caster I could get away with, 5.0 on the driver's side and 5.9 degrees on the passenger side. I put my camber at negative 0.1 degree on both sides, this should not wear my 275/45 tires.
On the way home I could not tell if it pulling due to the wind, however I love the caster on the highway. Turn the wheel about 2 inchs and immediately change lanes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> It feels solid.

I missed this one. I had mine daone when I did a 3" drop up front and I am maxed out without getting longer tierod ends. The right side is not quite where it needs to be, but it doesn't pull, so I just live with it.

The secret to a good alignment on a stock geometry lowered suspension is variances. You may be unable to match exactly however insuring the tolearances ar within .5* s and in spec will keep you from pulling this is extremely important when adjustng tow.
