Default need help

anyone know where the crank pos. sensor is on an 8.1 ? my SES light came on, the truck dies all the time at real low throttle. But then the light went off and the stupid dealers won't fix it unless it reads on their computer.. (I did check the code, when it came up, it was that) Any ideas? Thanks

I'd guess that the crank position reluctor is at the rear of the crankshaft, like it is on our LS1s. That would place the sensor itself somewhere on the engine within that radius.
