Well, I have a built 60E and the complete Dart heads in the as cast.....I'm thinking about getting them milled some tooo. Yeah it's the 5.3. I'll probably come down a notch or two on the cam size because I don't want to install this one a realize it's too big and have to do another cam swap. I'm going to ponder on this one some more.

Ya'll are scarring me now!!!!LOL!! I would do a 6.0 but mt truck has low miles on it. Thats the only reason I don't do a 6L. I'll probably go with a 226-228 duration range.

Thanks for all of ya'lls comments and suggestions!!!

Sorry!! I didn't mean to steal Rabid's thread!!!

Don't be scared .... you can always go smaller later if you need to. Just be sure you got someone that knows what they are doing to tune it for you.

dont let peopel stop you from doing what you want though, if you decide to step down make sure you dont step down too much to where you might not be happy 23x/23x to a 226/228 is a big regression. you could always do a 228/232 or something if you wanted to hit the 23x's... on the tuner

for a 5.3 x-cab unless u r planning to change ur converter then u don't want to go to big the 01 ls6 cam was good enough for a buddy of mine to 13.30 n an x-cab 5.3 so don't go belive u have to go huge.

and you don't have to change push rods on all cams i ran a 216/220 for 3 years on stock push rods
