do you have a stall? converters usually soften the hit of the shift a little.

yeah especially at low throttle
theres a certain spot I can hold the gas and never feel a shift

I may be selling mine in about a month or so

I need a touch of pink in my truck

no stall,i'll talk to the installer seems like he to thought the 1-2 was a little stiff,if i rember right he mentioned going back to the stock servo if i wanted a softer 1-2.so i might do that.thanks gamedawgx53 for your time and info,i'll post results it may be a week or so before i can get it in the shop.take care.

Ask the shop who did your install how many washers (spacers) they installed in the 2 accumulator. Its easy to remove the pan, and the cover on the accumulator and remove some spacers. You don't have to remove the valve body.

no prob dude

another thing I would reccommend is getting rid of the
plastic 1-2 and forward accumulators
sonnax makes aluminum pinless ones and
gm makes ones out of aluminum with pins

either way plastic is bad

the gm ones will be simpler
I know it sucks going back in
but they will crack or the pins will wallow the
pinhole out and cause a loss in line pressure
slip and burn up the tranny

once it slips hard
Its days are numbered
