Nitrous Oxide Systems makes a kit for the new trucks now. Here's the link....

You will need: the kit, purge, warmer, and a gauge to get the most from this kit. You are looking at about $1000 all said and done.

Spray is great, just use it in moderation depending on your motor.

i like the nx set up, it is a wet kit, for the kit with the accesory kit it will run you $800-$900new, that includes the heater. i don't really see the need for a purge unless you like to show the plume of nitrous to the people you are about to race. i just give it a quick shot thru the motor before i race to purge the lines.

these kits come up often used, i got a kit with heater, remote gauge and line, window switch, purge, ........ for $525used

yep, there really is no need for a purge valve unless you want to show them you have nitrous. doing as parish says will do the same thing, as well as spraying for a split second during ur burnout

I just don't like to do a purge through the motor, sounds silly as I am about to spray but that's me.

Hell ya, used stuff is the way to go. Most stuff isn't worth nearly what you pay for it so check out ebay, local speed shops, etc

i do agree a heater should be considered a requirement at least on a wet kit, most of the time when i crack the bottle the presure is under 800psi, should be over 1000. one cool thing about the nx kit is a powerfull heater with an automatic presure switch, just turn on the heater and forget about it. if i were going with a new kit i would get one of the new nx bottles where you can put the bottle heater switch before the valve, that way you can heat the bottle anytime you 'might' need it without actualy opening it. looks to me like i waste about 1/2lb of nitrous everytime i open the bottle and often i end up not even using it.

I recently switched to a 15lb. NOS bottle with a build in gauge. Besides holding more, I don't have to open the darn thing to see how much pressure is in it. I also think that I waste a lot of nitrous just by opening it and not using it.
