Default Guys with autometer fuel pressure gauges

Have y'all tested it against a mechanical gauge on the rail? Brand new mech gauge reads 62, whereas my eletric autometer reads 48..... pretty big difference.

From what I can tell, electric fuel gauges SUCK.

They're rarely accurate.

I would like to know if they can accurately measure changes since pressure drop is what I am really concerned about, but its pretty hard to watch an underhood mech gauge while WOT.

Maybe you have the incorrect sending unit for the Autometer gauge. I have seen this a few times. They are usually ink stamped with a pressure calibration. Make sure it matches your application.
