Question Gutting cats,worth it?

What's your experience with gutted cats? Good or Bad..Im thanking about killing my cats. I do have HP Tuners to get my AFR back in line. I was talking with some guy at a exhaust shop and he said I could'nt tune it with out my cats.. Yet he didnt know what a wideband was..

I felt quite a difference when my truck was NA. It was night and day with the blower. I'd say it's worth it, but you may just wanna wait til your cats go bad then do it.

I just cut the cats out, I lost quite a bit of low end, but from 3k on it screams, if I had it to do over, I would wait until I could put in a 3k converter. The sound is great, but it does lack at lower rpm's.

I dont have a stall and I actually felt some gain in the low end and you can really feel it on the high end.... but mine had 84kmiles on them so they might of been a little plugged that is why I felt some gain???
