SBChvy, I was wondering about the turbulent flow as well. Anyone else have opinions on this?
you will be fine as long as you don't have a check engine light on, but you should just lower your truck. i took my truck in 4 emissions and it was to low to go over the roller,so the guy just signed it off. BTW what part of maryland are you in

actually I'll be lifting my truck a couple inches once i need new tires which reminds me that i need to start a thread asking about that. anyway im in annapolis, davidsonville specifically if you know the area. I'm going to call my usual shop and see how they do their emissions testing (if they use a sniffer or not).

So, is the general consensus that gutting the cats will not increase any cab drone?

I didn't get any but that was with my exhaust, every exhaust is different.
