Default GTO LS2 yellow springs on silverado ?

I'm getting a pretty good deal on some GTO ls2 yellow springs. Would it be a good buy if I buy them when I get a comp cam 212/218 114lsa ?
Or are the ls6 springs better ?

They should be the same as LS6 springs. How many miles? I'd pass if they have a lot of mileage on them.

Even though the yellow and blue and the same spring rate, the blue are the latest version that gm sells. It's rumored they had some failures with the yellows a while back. I won't be running my yellows even with only 19k miles, just in case..... It's $60.

you can research and find failures on every valve spring made for these LS motors.
No need to be scared
