The track was dead because of all the rain in the past week, but the rain let off early today in time for the track to open. I made 15 runs and left way early

My old best was a 15.220, But the fans were done at the same time as the tune, So I can't tell. If you do swap radiators it will take some time to get all the air bubbles out. I was getting hot at the track and I think there is still air in there. But once I stopped and kicked them fans on high the temps dropped like a rock. So they work great, But you have to have a switch in the truck to kick them both on high just in case. I have a waterproof switch that I put in between the fuse box and the curved fender brace, and I looks great there, I just drilled a hole in the fuse cover and mounted it. I put sealed 1/4" connectors for taking the cover off so it won't be a pain.

And huge thanks to joshluther for the tune , lvstogofst2002 , KLUG'S SS for the rad. and the other Conn. guys(I don't know there screen names or if there on here)

E fans are worth about 2/10's Its hard to believe. Someone told me he got 3/10's from them and I called B.S. When I put mine on I went from 15.9 to 15.5 but my tune was still learning itself I think and I also hit 100K miles, so I had changed the plugs. So I don't know exactly, but I would say for sure 2-3/10's!

I'm not sure on that one, seems a bit much to me. Maybe a 10th but I don't think any more than that.

well just to put it into perspective, going from a clutch fan to an e-fan frees up roughly 17 horsepower. There was a guy on a different website that had dyno before and after.

From the 1/4 mi. times I gained 15HP total, Thats with the tune and the fans only.
For about $200 total, Thats not too bad.

Next on the list is the homemade intake and muffler swap.

I only gained about 2 hp from the 05 fans. We did a before and after on Allen's Dyno(Nelson Performance), but throttle response was alot better.
